Almost everybody that you meet these days has an account on Facebook. From a business perspective, this is brilliant news. When you create an advert on Facebook, you can set it so that it targets a certain demographic of people, depending on your target audience.

Once you have a page set up for your business, you need to reach out to both customers and prospects. Facebook Adverts is a way for you to connect with people that are sure to be interested in what you offer.

Let’s say, for example, you run a wedding planning business. Once your ad is written, you can select the kind of person you’d like to see it. So in this instance you might like to target women who have their relationship status set to engaged. This way, the advert will only appear to such people, and they will click on it out of genuine interest in your services. Remember, as with all Pay Per Click advertisements, you only pay when somebody clicks on your ad.
